How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Japan Trip (any advice?) + Last Semester

Five more days until I get on my plane to Japan! I'm super excited but I'm also extremely nervous... I've never traveled abroad alone, just my lonesome self getting through the hassle of the airport, a 14-hour plan ride and utilizing a foreign public transportation system. Lots of people travel alone so I'm hoping it's not as scary as I imagine it to be.

I hope I can get good photos and lots of sketches for my spring semester. This will be the only chance I get to do some on-site research for my thesis. This adds to the pressure of this trip A LOT.

But I've never been abroad except for the Philippines. This has me counting down the days with excitement. But so far it's hard to tell if my nerves will overpower my excitement as I get closer to the my schedule departure flight.

If anyone's traveled alone before or have any packing/traveling tips, I'd love to hear them!

On another note, I start my last semester of architecture (B.Arch) at Temple University. Wow. I just can't--I mean, it's really been five years?

Damn.

Just damn.

My eighth deviantArt anniversary is approaching too. In a few more years, I'll be on my tenth anniversary!

Okay, enough self-revelations.

Also, no matter what airports say, bring any medicine you may need with you. I left my headache medicine on the suitcase, and 9 awfully uncomfortable hours later my head was killing me and could do nothing until I got of the plane

The only travelling tip I have is: bring an empty bag. I put my dad's gym bag (which is quite big, but small enough to be allowed on the plane as a handbag) at the bottom of the suitcase. It didn't take space, and it was really useful when I returned with candy and CDs and other breakable stuff.

You're welcome! I always bring an extra bag when I travel because too many times I had to juggle 5 or 6 plastic bags on a bus XD

I went to Orlando, to Infinitus and the WWoHP. From Argentina, that's a lot of hours on the plane XD
